I believe in compassionate, professional care. Though I work with many different people for a variety of reasons, my practice largely focuses on addressing chronic pain conditions, serving those who are coping with illness or injury, and providing supportive care for emotional health concerns.
It is my intention for every client, every session, to be as relaxed and comfortable as possible from start to finish, to know that their concerns and goals are truly heard, and to feel genuinely cared for and respected.
Whether a client has a specific condition to address, or is simply seeking to relax and decompress, each one has my commitment to provide quality, thoughtful massage and bodywork therapy.
I received my training from the prestigious Body Therapy Institute, a COMTA accredited massage school located in Siler City, NC. I am a member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) and the National Fibromyalgia & Chronic Pain Association (NFMCPA).
I initially came to have an interest in massage therapy due to personal experience with chronic and debilitating pain. I have also personally dealt with depression and anxiety. In each case, massage therapy served, and continues to serve, a significant role in my care. This experience led me to become a massage therapist - so that I may help others in the way I've been helped.
In my personal time I can be found listening to music, dabbling in photography, playing with my cats, watching football, or roaming out and about somewhere enjoying nature.
What about you? Whether you already have experience with the benefits of massage therapy or you're interested in learning more about how massage and bodywork can help you, please contact me. I look forward to meeting you!
